Alpha Centurion Athletics Club Attire

The official attire for Alpha Centurion Athletics Club (ACAC) includes an ACAC-branded top paired with red bottoms. It is essential to wear the correct combination of top and bottom, as stipulated in our club's constitution and required by Athletics South Africa (ASA).

​

All fully licensed members of a running club must wear their official registered club attire when competing in any ASA-sanctioned races. Failure to comply may lead to disqualification, ineligibility for prizes, or a loss of league points. 

​

Wearing the correct club attire unites us, strengthens our team identity, and shows pride in our collective purpose. 

​

ACAC-branded tops are only available to purchase at the clubhouse. Club members can choose between the running vest or t-shirt.

The club also stocks red bottoms: shorts and tights; however, quantities are limited and only available if in stock. Buying the red bottoms at the club is not mandatory, and club members may buy any red bottoms from any retailer, as long as they are red - red like a fire truck.

Tip: the most popular red running shorts are Dri-Tech UltraX Red Run Shorts available at Total Sports, and Capestorm's A3 Running Shorts available at Sportsmans Warehouse. The most popular tights are Funky Pants High Waist or Classic Red tights. Other stores and online retailers that offer red bottoms are Sportsmans, Warehouse, Mr Price Sport, Decathlon, BlackStrawberry Active, Creative Costumes Centurion, Shein, Temu, and Takealot.

Full club members who have paid and confirmed their membership for 2026 can buy club attire on Wednesdays, starting from 14 January 2026, between 17:15 and 18:15 during the months of January, February, and March.

​

After March, club attire will only be available for purchase on the first and last Wednesday of each month between 17:15 - 18:00, and this will require an appointment.

​

Social members may not purchase official registered club attire.
